Solution
According to the overview given by our clients and noting their requirements, we decided to develop a software solution which is for both public and the officials.
The software will be user friendly and can help the residents or public to report easily and quickly, while the reported incidents or crime can be taken into action by the officials and can be prevented from its future occurrence.
The whole software is to be created in PHP and the database is kept in MySQL.
Both the front-end and the back-end are developed in PHP.
The front-end is where the residents /public can report incidents or crimes, while the back-end is where the admin or the officials can check the reported incidents and can take actions according to CCTV camera assigned to them in their region.
Features
- While reporting an incident, a panorama view option is given where the resident / public can select the location where the incident has taken place.
- With the help of live camera, the officials can easily check the reported incidents immediately.
- Resident and the official can have conversation on the portal, once the incident is reported.
- Officials can create an alert based on any recent or past incidents for preventing its occurrence in future.
- Helpful links can be posted on the portal by the officials for the safety of the community.
- Blogs can be created and posted.
